In Romania present only in small islands in calcareus areas.

 

 

 

 

 

This saxicole calciphile species is present in Romania in the following six islands: Trascau Mountains (around Trascau Basin, Piatra Cetii), Oriental Carpathians (?Haghimasu Mic, Ceahlau-Trei Fantani), Somes Tableland (Leghia area), southern Dobrudja (Albesti-Cotu Vaii area), Anina Mountains (Ciclova), Hartibaciu Tableland (Ocna Sibiului area, here probably on gypsum). These populations, along with the ones from Bukk Mountains, Hungary are the north-eastern most ones in the range of the species.
